Having started as a teenager in the world of Country Dance, Robert Royston took his favorite hobby dance, and made it a career that not only has been good for him but has spread the fun of Country Dance to many people. Always a perennial nominee for the Star Awards, Robert has been honored by the dance community with titles like "favorite teacher, emcee, personality" and more. He is one of the most successful "crossover" dancers in the Country dance community having not only won four World Dance Titles in Country but also in Swing as well with former partner Laureen Baldovi. Robert has also brought Country and Swing dancing into the sights of the mainstream public by introducing it to Broadway several years ago with the hit "Swing!", and more recently with his wife Nicola in "Swango". He also produced a television special for GAC featuring the Country Dance World Championships. Robert is an internationally recognized judge and instructor, He teaches 22 different styles of couples dancing, making his home base at Dance Manhattan in N.Y. Look for a hot new movie debuting soon on the big screen "Love 'N Dancing" which he has produced and features his choreography and the acting talent of Nicola. But with all that he has done, his proudest achievement is his son Robert Jr., daughter Summer and the wonderful marriage he has with wife Nicola.

Matthew Isenor is known for his contagious enthusiasm and fun-loving approach to Swing Dancing. As a teacher, he keeps his students smiling and learning in creative ways in lessons and on the social dance floor. Specializing in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and Vernacular Jazz, Matthew loves dancing to live jazz & big band music. The athletic and energetic aspects of swing dancing keep him constantly looking to improve his personal dancing and help others achieve their dancing goals. 

Matthew started his dance career at the age of nine and has a background in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Break Dancing. He started Swing Dancing in 2002 and has been addicted ever since. As the organizer of the University of Victoria Swing Dance Club he taught lessons and organized events such as Swing of War, before teaching and performing with Red Hot Swing in Victoria, BC. In 2009, Matthew moved to Calgary to start up the Toe Tappin’ Swing dance company. As Calgary’s only professional Lind Hop instructor, his goal is to bring Calgary to the forefront of the Canadian Swing Dancing scene.

Jocelyn Miller has been inspiring dancers and spectators in the Pacific Northwest since 1998.  Known for her extraordinary talent for movement, she is almost as much of a joy to watch as she is to dance with. Primarily a social dancer, rather than a competitor or performer, Jocelyn’s priorities as both a dancer and a teacher are partner connection and musicality: she believes that with sufficient doses of both, and a touch of playfulness, there’s nothing that can’t be achieved on the dance floor.
